Dead Sea Spa Retreat is the first of its kind for the spa and wellness tourism industry in the U.S.  Bringing the products of the Dead Sea fused with the time lasting tradition of the old world sauna, this mind and body retreat features exclusive spa services available nowhere else in the country.

History Dead Sea Retreat has a long and deep-rooted heritage in Chicago as The Division Street Russian Baths.  Built in 1906, this historical building was rumored to be owned by the infamous Al Capone and has been frequented by Hollywood stars Steven Seagal, Jim and John Belushi and Burt Reynolds. Local politicians have frequented the bathhouse as their local hangout along with judges and congressmen and senators.  Having been around for over 100 years, The Division Street Russian Baths has witnessed the rise and fall and now rise again of this famous Chicago neighborhood, Wicker Park/Bucktown and with this new boom and new generation of consumers the Dead Sea Spa Resort is poised to cater to the new and growing marketplace.
